Illinois Distributing for Grinch 2007

Illinois Distributing, the Anheuser-Busch distributor for much of the Metro East, has implemented measures that gut a union contract that has been in place for over 40 years.  Since beginning nogotiations in March 2007, the company has gone from an hourly wage to a commission system.  This system has forced workers to take a 30% reduction in pay.  Additionally, the company has eliminated overtime and has taken away the guarantee of a 40 hour work week.  Workers have taken a 40%-60% reduction in their pension and have been placed on "company" health insurance, insurance that can require up to a $5,000 deductible.  Illinois Distributing obviously has no respect for workers’ right to organize or the over 60 employees that are affected by these conditions.
