Submit Artwork
- General Criteria/Information for All Entries
1. All entries must reflect the thematic concept of the exhibition. This year’s theme is “Crossing Borders: St. Louis Workers and Jobs in the Global Economy ”
2. All entries must be appropriate for a multi-generational audience.
3. All artists must reside within the 7 county St. Louis Metropolitan Area
4. There is no application fee.

July 15, 2006 Deadline for Submissions – Poetry & Music submissions must be received; for Visual artists the Entry Application is due on this date and you will be contacted about where to submit your art work. August 15, 2006 Artists will be notified whether work is accepted into exhibition Friday, September 1, 2006 Bread & Roses reception, work will be performed and displayed - Criteria for Visual Art Entries
1. All entries must be no larger than 5’x 6’.
2. Any one artist may submit up to 3 different works
3. All mediums will be accepted (sculpture, painting, photography, etc.).
4. All paintings and photos need to be matted and ready for display. Wall space is not available. If possible, artists should provide other equipments necessary for display (i.e. easels, pedestals, etc.)
5. Paint must be dry.
6. All sculptures need to be ready for installation.
7. If there is a certain way work must be displayed, please provide instructions.
8. Artists should submit the Entry Application ONLY, and will be contacted regarding the logistics of submitting their work for jurying.
- Criteria for Musical Entries
1. All entries must be limited to 5 minutes in length.
2. All genres accepted.
3. Entries can be either instrumental or vocal.
4. If instrumental, an explanatory text needs to be submitted.
5. Submit entries on cassette or CD via USPS to the address on the Entry Application

1. All entries must be limited to 5 minutes in length.
